The aim of this research is to examine the assertiveness levels of the hearing impaired sports persons according to the gender, the year of making sports and the sports branch. Among the people who make sports regularly and have hearing impairment, totally 173 hearing impaired sports persons participated in the research who were invited to the national team camp. In the determination of the sports persons’ assertiveness levels, the Rathus Assertiveness Inventory was used. In the statistical analysis of the data which were obtained, the Frequency, Mann Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis H analyses were used. At the end of the research, it was fixed that the assertiveness levels of the sports persons with hear impairment were low. It was determined that the assertiveness levels of the sports persons revealed no significant difference statistically according to their genders. Besides this, it was concluded that the assertiveness levels of these sports persons revealed no significance difference statistically according to their years of making sports and the sports branch they were interested in. (p>0.05). As a result, it was concluded that the demographic variables which were discussed in the research, are not important determinants on the assertiveness levels of the hearing impaired individuals.
