Gyrocompass Effect And The Origin Of The Earth's Magnetic Field

Authors: Low Yuen Wang

Here I propose that the magnetic field of the earth is produced by the alignment of electrons. Because the earth is rotating, only electron spins that pointing to the north-south direction can maintain their direction relative to the galaxy and relative to other electrons and atoms, so electrons have a tendency to point to north-south direction. This theory/effect is proved by a commercial tool called gyrocompass.

An Interpretation of an Angular Momentum Density of Circularly Polarized Light Beams

Authors: Radi I. Khrapko
Comments: recovered from sciprint.org

Reasons are presented against considering an moment of momentum flux to be a spin flux. A spin tensor is proposed to describe spin of a photon in the frame of the classical electrodynamics.

Experimental Determination of Angular Momentum Flux Density in a Circularly Polarized Light Beam

Authors: Radi I. Khrapko
Comments: recovered from sciprint.org

An interference experiment is proposed to answer a troubling question, how is angular momentum distributed over a circularly polarized light beam with plane phase front.
