Well-intentioned laws and policy that prohibit the patenting of laws of nature have had unintended consequences. Patenting, with its emphasis on novelty and an objective standard of non-obviousness, is a manner of scientific publication that excels at finding and filling literature gaps. The denial of these benefits to natural laws have slowed progress in the fundamentals of physics. Several specific literature gaps are identified herein, each suggesting material that would be both novel and non-obvious according to patent law standards. These examples include the need to reevaluate the role of the electrical force in the atomic nucleus, overlooked mechanics that may explain how mass bends spacetime, and why a very early theory of inertia deserves reconsideration.

All these above can be explained intuitively or derived classically by this new 4d physics, whereas, our traditional 3d physics cannot achieve these feats. This fact, itself, is a strong proof that 4th space dimension exists.

Is there a Subconscious Cause for Our Love of Music?

A speculative essay proposing that the human subconscious mind can understand language but, while it can communicate with the sleeping mind via images in dreams, it can only communicate to an individual’s awake mind via what appear to the individual as a random recall of a musical song in working memory. Remarkable lyrics of a given song can thus be used by the subconscious as a means to communicate to the awake mind. A theory of subconscious communication from Cormac McCarthy in his Kekule’ Problem essay and the research of Jeff Hawkins and Numenta Corporation showing the human brain storing sequences of patterns including songs, are used to support the proposal.
